:: ITINERARY
DAY 01: ARRIVAL TO LIMA CITY - VISIT TO THE CITY
- Arrival and Transfer to the Hotel.
Welcome Pisco sour. Pisco is the tipical peruvian drink. It is a drink made of the destilation of the quebranta grape from a
city with the same name located 250 Km. soth from Lima in the department of Ica. This licuor as the Tequila in Mexico is wordly
famous.
- City Tour Lima.
We visit the historical center of Lima, including "Paseo de la Republica", "Plaza San Martín", the Main Square
and the surroundings monuments: " The Goberment Palace, the Cathedral, the Archbishop`s Palace; City Hall, the Desamparados
Train Station, and the Moorish-style houses and balconies along Lima`s old streets. In the catedral, the tour guide will show
you the sacristy, the side chapels, the impressive Choir seating, and the tomb of Lima`s founder, Francisco Pizarro. The Next
stop is San Francisco convent, with the best exhibition of Colonial art in Latinoamerica. After we will visit the traditional
neighborhood near the San Isidro Golf Club, the olive Grove park and the modern Larco Mar shopping and the entertaiment complex
including the love park of Love where we will finish with a spectacular sight of the Pacific Ocean.

DAY 02: CARAL
- Breakfast in the hotel.
- 7:30 am Pick up from the Hotel.
- We leave from Lima very early, we take the highway Pan-American north road until arriving to the Km. 156 (2 1/2 hours). Then we enter for a
trail in a road where we will cross canals, little rivers, plantations characteristic of the place, accompanied by the flora and typical fauna of
the place (turtupilines in abundance). We will also have the opportunity in this on the way to observe the irrigation channels in the desert
areas, areas of beans cultivation, sugar cane, corn, yuca in the interaction with the communities of the place.
Arrival to the city of Caral. Guided tour inside the city. We will be able to appreciate the different constructions: 7 monumental pyramids, in
two of those we can realize the architectural distribution of the first Peruvian civilization and of America. These constructions have an
amphitheater, vents of offerings in form to circulate, central squares, residential areas and religious centers.
This city dates of 5000 years of antiquity and it is located chronologically parallel to the constructions of the Egipt pyramids.
Thanks to the discovery of the archaeological city of Caral we have a new chronological vision of the cities in America and the world.

DAY 03: PACHACAMAC / GOLD MUSEUM OF PERU
- Breakfast in the hotel.
- PACHACAMAC
Guided tour to the sanctuary of Pachacamac God, Universe creator and divinity venerated by the andeamericans. It is a holy place since the
beginnings of the chiristian Era, where millions of pilgrims gave their offers and ask the Oracle for advice. Pachacamac has a lot of pyramidal
temples and places built by different pre-Columbian cultures and by the Incas.
Temples of: Pachacamac, Dios del Sol (Sun God), el Palacio de las mujeres escogidas (Chosen women palace) and Las virgenes del Sol (Sun Virgins).
Pachacamac also has a museum that exhibits the idol of Pachacamac's God. All the place is considered holy and it is a part of the world's
mystic axis.

- GOLD MUSEUM OF PERU
Ancient peruvians were master metal workers. the "cire perdue" or lots wx process, known across the Orient and lost in the west until the
renaissance, was the most frecuent technique used by mater ancients Peruvian gold and silversmiths.
On our tour of Peru`s Gold museum, visitors will appreciate a dazzling collection of gold artefacts from various pre-colombian civilizations,
some more than 3000 years old. Metal pieces and jewerly of incalculable value in gold, silver and precious stones used by the incas - the
children of the Sun god and monarch of the vast Inca Empire - are shown in this collection. Peru's Gold Museum also host a valuable collection of
old and modern weapons that ranks among the best in the world.

DAY 04: PARACAS
- Breakfast in the hotel.
07:00 Hrs. Bus Lima / Paracas.
11:00 Hrs. Tour to Paracas National Reserve. The Paracas National Reserve has a surface of 3.350 hectares. It is one of the most
important, protected areas of Peru, being the only one that has a marine ecosystem. The place is a refuge for sea dogs, Humboldt
penguins, flamingos and others. It is located at 250 kilometers from Lima. Return to Paracas.
- Overnight in Paracas.
DAY 05: BALLESTAS ISLANDS / CITY TOUR ICA
- Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to the port.
08:00 Hrs. Tour to Ballestas Islands. From the Paracas beach and port, located in Pisco, we visit by boat the Ballestas and San Gallan islands ,
habitat of sea dogs, guaneras birds, penguins, and diversity of marine fauna. On the way one can see a figure of El Candelabro, engraved on
the slope of a hill. El Candelabro is a geoglyph of great rocky formation eroded by the sea and the wind. It has a width of more than 120
meters which is also called Tres Cruces or Trident. The best way to see it is from the sea. Return to the port.
- Transfer to Ica by Private car.
- City Tour Ica visiting the main square, "Sr. de Luren" church, The Cathedral, Huacachina lake, Wineries to observe how the wines are made.
- Overnight in Ica.
DAY 06: NAZCA LINES / AREQUIPA
- Breakfast in the hotel.
- Transfer Ica / Nazca by private car.
- Arrival to the aerodrome in Nazca to flight in a monomotor airplane and observe the misterius Nazca Lines. We will see huge drawings that only
can be seen from the sky and represent different insects and animals like the "Colibri", the "condor", the aligator, the spider, the whale,
the tree, the hands, the astronaut and a lot of more lines that cross all the area of Nazca.
13:30 Hrs. Bus Nazca / Arequipa.
- Arrival to Arequipa. Transfer to the hotel.
- Overnight in Arequipa.
DAY 07: AREQUIPA CITY
- Breakfast in the hotel.
- City Tour Arequipa + Santa Catalina Monastery.
- Free afternoon.
- Overnight in Arequipa.
DAY 08: COLCA CANYON
- Breakfast in the hotel.
- Departure toward the colca canyon.
- Tourist lunch.
- Overnight in Chivay.
DAY 09: COLCA CANYON / AREQUIPA
- Breakfast in the hotel.
- Transportation to the Colca Canyon to observe "The flight of the Condores".
- Return to Arequipa. Overnight in Arequipa.
DAY 10: AREQUIPA / PUNO / SILLUSTANI
- Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to the bus station.
- Bus Arequipa - Puno. Arrival to Puno. Transfer to the hotel.
- Tour to Sillustani.
- Overnight in Puno.
DAY 11: UROS - AMANTANI ISLANDS
- Breakfast in the hotel.
- Visit to Uros floating islands and Amantani Island by bote in the Titicaca Lake.
- The Titicaca Lake and the floating islands are the biggest tourist atractiveness of the Province of Puno. The splendid landscapes and
fascinating life of its inhabitants make a visit to the islands Taquile and Amantani a must.
The floating islands of the Urus are located at 5 kilometers from Puno and at an altitude of 3.810 m.a.s.l., with a cold and dry climate. It is a
group of 40 big, floating islands of totora where the inhabitants still live like their ancestors. Each island is inhabited by between 30 and 50
people.
The Amantani Island, located at 36 kilometers from the Port of Puno, across the peninsula of Capachica. The island is characterized for its
bushes. It is interesting to visit the two natural view-points where you can see the remains of the pre-hispanic temple of Pacha Tata, Pacha Mama,
Incachincana, Ikca Tihana and the cementary of the mummies.
Overnight in the houses of the Local Families. AMANTANI DOES NOT HAVE HOTELS, services are very basic. Lunch and Dinner in the Family House.
DAY 12: VISIT TO TAQUILE ISLAND
Breakfast in the Family House.
The Taquile island, located at 35 kilometers from Puno, in the Chunchito bay. The place was used as a political prison until the first years of
the 20th. century.
Visit to Taquile island, place where you appreciate the rustic life, it is a pintorestic place, with beautiful landscapes, where they maintain
their old traditions, religion and folkloric rituals. They also have pre-inca and inca archaeological rests.
Return to Puno. Overnight in Puno.
DAY 13: PUNO / CUSCO IN TOURISTIC BUS
- Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to the bus station.
07:30 Hrs. Bus with visits Puno - Cusco ( You visit: Pukara, Racchi and others).
- Lunch in the way.
16:30 Hrs. Arrival to Cusco. Pick up and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Cusco.
DAY 14: SACRED VALLEY OF THE INKAS
- Breakfast in the hotel.
- 09:00 AM. Departure to the Sacred Valley of the Inkas, we will visit the ruins of Pisac, shopping in the market of Pisac, Lunch at
Urubamba. After we continue with the visit to Ollantaytambo, Temples, liturgical sources and city. Return to Cusco by Chincheros.
- Transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Cusco.
DAY 15: INKA TRAIL – CHILCA - WAYLLABAMBA
- Breakfast in the hotel.
- Transfer to the office at 06.00 AM, to board the bus. Make sure to carry your original passport. Transfer until Km 82. We will start the trail
walking about 2-3 Hrs. before lunch. After lunch, we walk untill pass the village of Wayllabamba for our first camping (3000 m.o.s.l.).This first
day walking passes through the valley starting from 2800 m.o.s.l. with a small climb, rewarded with superb views of mount Veronica to a platform
overlooking the inca site Llactapata. Approx. 14Km. walking - 6 hours.
- Lunch, dinner, overnight in camping site.
DAY 16: INKA TRAIL – WAYLLABAMBA - PACAYMAYO
Breakfast. This is the most difficult day as you walk from about 3000 m.o.s.l. (Dead woman´s pass). You can walk at your own pase, stop to get
your breath whenever you want. We continue the trekking down the valley until Pacaymayo. On the second day you can hire a porter from the
wayllabamba village to carry your pack to the top of the pass (USD$15.00 Approx.). Campsite at 3600 m.o.s.l. This is the coldest night in the
trekk +2/+4 Degrees celcius (December) -3/-5 Degrees celcius (June). Approx. 12Km walking - 7 hours.
- Breakfast, lunch, dinner, overnight in camping site.
DAY 17: INKA TRAIL – PACAYMAYO - WIÑAYHUAYNA
Breakfast. This day in the trekking is exceptionally beautiful because of the ruins and the incredible Paved Trail (and more important for your
lungs, there is a lot more down than up!!!). There are about 2000 escaleras descending from Puyupatamarca to Wiñayhuayna, so be careful if you
have had problems with the knees in the past; an extra porter is recommended so that you are not carrying extra weight. Guided tour of all the
ruins and camping at Winayhuayna (2700 m.o.s.l.).
- Apart from the streams the only shower on the Inka Trail is on this third night at Winayhuayna. There is hostal near the campsite with an 8 Min.
hot shower for 5 soles and bar and restaurant where you can also purchase a bottle of water. Approx. 16Km walking - 6 hours.
- Breakfast, lunch, dinner, overnight in camping site.
DAY 18: MACHU PICCHU "THE LOST CITY OF THE INKAS"
- Breakfast. Get up extremelly early to arrive at Inti Punku, "The gate of the sun" and view of the first sun rays illuminating Machu Picchu. It
is still 20 Min. walk down from here and the famous view is from the terraces at the end of the trail. Take your photos now before crowds arrive
around the 10:30.
- Guided Visit to the fabulous inka city of Machu Picchu. Your tour to Machu Picchu should finish between 10:30 and 11:00 am, after you have free
time to walk around or just collapse under the tree in Machu Picchu.
- Down Bus. Return train to Cusco. Transfer to the hotel.
- Overnight in Cusco.
DAY 19: CITY TOUR CUSCO
- Breakfast in the hotel. Free morning.
- 14:00 City Tour Cusco + 04 archaeological ruins: Sacsayhuaman, Tambomachay, Quenqo and Puca Pukara.
- Overnight in Cusco.
DAY 20: CUSCO / LIMA
- Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to the airport in Cusco.
- Flight Cusco - Lima.
- Pick up from the airport in Lima and transfer to the hotel.
- Rest of the day free. We recommend to make as an optional tour a visit the Archaeological and antropological museum.
This museum offers and excellent oportunity to know the history of the cultures that lived in the old Peru. Also the private
collection "Larco Herrera", where you will find thousands of gold pieces from different cultures of Peru.

DAY 21: LIMA / RETURN TO YOUR COUNTRY
- Breakfast in the hotel.
At the convenient time, transfer to the airport.
